Championship Links - Royal County Down (Royal County Down Golf Club)
Its picturesque location, innovative design and wealth of history have all contributed to its current standing as one of the finest courses in the world. The Championship links course was designed in 1889, by the acclaimed course designer Tom Morris. Its reputation has attracted numerous prestigious championships and Tom Watson describes it as "...a tremendous test of golf. The outward half especially is as fine a nine holes as I have ever played".
