Accommodation

Beautifully developed into a country retreat, the original Manor, built in 1559, comes into view as you approach the oak lined driveway. Situated just four miles north east of the cathedral city of Norwich, the hotel is the ideal base from which to explore the sights and sounds of Norwich as well as the tranquil Norfolk Broads and all that they offer. The superb Manor Restaurant has won an AA Rosette for its fine food and the Zest, Café, Bar and Grill provides an excellent dining alternative. The hotel's health spa is also award winning and offers a full range of treatments including facials and massages. Furthermore, the leisure facilities include an indoor swimming pool, sauna, spa bath, steam room, solarium and well-equipped gym.

Golf Courses

After extensive work, Sprowston Manor now hosts one of the finest golfing venues in the east of England.

Manor Course (Marriott Sprowston Manor)

After 16 months of intensive work and £1.6m of investment, the championship 'Manor Course' at Sprowston Manor opened in July 2003. The course has been totally re-designed by renowned architect Ross McMurray of European Golf Design, who was also responsible for the Marquess Course at Woburn and the improvements at The Celtic Manor. The new course is now one of the finest inland courses in the region and has already hosted a EuroPro Tour event. It measures in at 6,464 yards and features 75 bunkers, water hazards and greens built to USGA specifications. The signature hole is the 7th, a dogleg par four with a water feature running parallel to the fairway complete with a fountain and weirs.
