Accommodation

Barnham Broom is set in its own 250 acre estate with fabulous views over the River Yare and the surrounding Norfolk countryside. A friendly atmosphere and a roaring log fire (in winter!) ensure a warm welcome. All of the 52 en-suite bedrooms and suites offer the highest standards of comfortable modern accommodation. Two restaurants provide guests with a wide choice of menus throughout the day from fine dining in Flints Restaurant to a less formal experience in the Sports Bar and Café. The hotel offers first class leisure facilities from a gymnasium giving panoramic views of the valley to the indoor pool, spa, sauna and marble steam rooms. In addition there are tennis and squash courts for the racquet enthusiasts as well as a resident squash coach. After a hard day guests can relax on the terrace bar overlooking the golf courses. Barnham Broom is also ideally situated for exploring the county of Norfolk and local countryside with its many attractions, or the historic sites of Norwich such as the Castle and Cathedral. The Royal Sandringham House is within easy reach of the hotel.

Since opening in 1977, Barnham Broom has established itself as one of the finest golfing venues in the region.

Hill (Barnham Broom)

The par 71, 6,495 yard Hill Course was based on the original design by Frank Pennink and later modified by Donald Steel in 1989. As well as offering fine views across the Norfolk countryside, the slightly wider fairways, well guarded greens and constant breezes of the Hill Course provide a different challenge to that presented by the Valley Course.

Valley (Barnham Broom)

The par 72, 6,483 yard Valley Course is a mature course that features various water hazards including the River Yare. Designed by Frank Pennink, it was opened for play in 1976 and weaves its way through the beautiful valley to offer an aesthetically pleasing round.

Top quality tuition is provided at the resort's Golf Academy, which is regarded as one of the best in the country. The team of PGA professionals give both group and individual lessons to golfers of all standards. Practice facilities include a 3 hole academy course, practice ground, putting green and an on-site workshop.
