    18 of us went.
Originally booked a break to play the Cromwell and Crown courses. A few weeks before our booking we were told the Crown was out of commission for maintenance and we nearly cancelled.
So glad we didn't because the trip was excellent. There's a lot of money being spent on the courses and the venue; and it's beginning to show.
The rooms were very good, the hotel facilities spot on and the service from the staff couldn't be faulted.
The Cromwell course was in good condition and they were just about to start work putting in full irrigation and drainage so I'd expect it to be very, very good in future years.
We'll be looking to go back.

The Cromwell course is an excellent golf course.
Very Friendly staff who made us all welcome.
Only criticism from our group was service at dinner was very slow between courses.
Accommodation was good and we were impressed with the old hotel building.
We intend to go back and play the crown course which was closed due to maintenance during our stay.
Prices at this venue were average and I would definitely recommend it t golfers and golf groups
