Golf was good and the course in good condition. The food quality could have been better. Check the bar prices before ordering...£10 for a pint is taking the Michael somewhat!

We booked into The Oxfordshire for Sunday/Monday golf and stay over. The Oxfordshire
had a tournament on the Monday so we were offered a round at Heythrop Park as an alternative for that day.

We were told Heythrop was 'half an hour down the road'. It wasn't, it took a good 45 - 50 minutes. The facilities at Heythrop ( shared with the Spa) were extremely limited, and although the staff were helpful, the whole experience was not a good substitute for our second day's golf.

We have visited The Oxfordshire in the past and knew it to be of a good standard. This left us surprised that The Oxfordshire had suggested Heythrop Park as a reasonable alternative.

I would never recommend Heythrop Park to anyone and I hope that this report stops suggesting Heythrop as a possible alternative if they are unable to accommodate future customers at The Oxfordshire.

northampton retired regular golfer
friendly and efficient staff food choice good within £27 allowance rooms comfortable but very few have view over course //golf course very fair with wide fairways but 6 lakes and 130 plus bunkers make it a challenging experience // only downside is cost of drinks which are on very high side
