The Masters Trip Reviews

“My husband and I returned from the States yesterday after a brilliant trip!  The Masters was quite an experience.  We had such a great time and what a fantastic result! The atmosphere was electric on Sunday afternoon.  Everything was so well organised and all the arrangements worked very well indeed.  The Jameson Suites worked fine as a base, the shuttle service was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful.  We could not have wished for a better few days - thank you SO MUCH for organising this for me.”

“Thank you for your help with the arrangements to the Masters. Everything went very smoothly with Georgia Sports and of course the experience of being at Augusta National with my father is something that I will treasure for a long long time.”

“Augusta National was just an amazing experience, even better than we thought it would be… In overall terms our itinerary worked out perfectly for us, it was fairly hectic and we crammed an awful lot in, but it never felt rushed… Jamieson Suites were basic but the perfect venue for guests going to Augusta. The whole set up there is to make it easy to get to and from Augusta, there is a shuttle bus that leaves every 15 minutes, and it also dropped us in town. Having the tickets delivered there was a real bonus, it meant we could get straight to the golf course early doors on Tuesday. Rooms were good and breakfast good as well. We ate out at the Frog Hollow Tavern on Broad Street – very highly recommended (no 1 on trip Advisor for Augusta).”

“I just wanted to thank you for your excellent organisation of my Masters package. The collection of the tickets was seamless and Jim and his daughter at Georgia Sports were extremely helpful and completely de-stressed the anxiety of wondering if everything would go ok with the ticket collection. It was an absolute 'breeze'. The event itself was unbelievable and everything that it is meant to be - a unique, well organised, tough competition on an unbelievable, immaculate course set up. It was further enhanced by seeing only the second English winner of The Masters. Many thanks for all your help, you thoroughly delivered everything I expected”.

“All the people involved, at the hotel, the transit driver, the agent with the badges, were all very good…it is an event with its own rules and customs, and very enjoyable as a result. The staff on-course were all very welcoming to the patrons, and it was all done with great good humour.”

"We went on a trip organised by Golfbreaks USA in April 2014. It was seamlessly organised, great fun and we were exceptionally well taken care off at every venue. Golfbreaks are a very professional organisation who will set you up for the trip of a lifetime in the USA. In short, it was the best golfing week of my life. Incredible championship courses, fantastic service, top notch accommodation and fantastic dining."

What Makes The Masters So Special?

One of the world’s most iconic and beloved sporting events, The Augusta Masters is a golf tournament like no other. Played out every April on Alister MacKenzie’s defining course design, the players lucky enough to be invited to take part compete not for money or ranking points, but for the glory of a Major win, membership of a very special club and the right to wear the coveted Green Jacket.

Just the merest mention of Augusta National Golf Club is enough to send most golfers into a daze. From the brilliant white sand bunkers and emerald fairways to the banks of glorious azaleas behind iconic holes like 12 and 13, this former plant nursery is an explosion of colour.

And because it’s played at the same venue it’s a course that we all know intimately despite never having set foot on the hallowed turf. We can visualise every hole and the great moments that have shaped the tournament’s history - Bubba’s wedge, Tiger’s chip, Sandy’s bunker shot, Jack’s putt, right the way back to Gene Sarazen’s ‘Shot heard around the world’ . Defining shots are all etched into Masters folklore, and each year new chapters are added as the roars echo around Amen Corner.
