The Indiana Course at Desert Springs introduction
The 18-hole Par 72 Indiana Course at Desert Springs was designed by Peter McEvoy and is the first desert course ever to be opened in Europe. Although it is not the longest course in Spain, its tight fairways make it hard for golfers to avoid the desert located all over the course.
The Indiana Course at Desert Springs information
18 holes, 72 par, 6747 yards. Desert.
Desert Springs Golf is the first desert course ever to be opened in Europe and is very similar to layouts you would expect to see in Arizona and California. The fairways are forgiving; however every hole has features that can be brought into play. A number of springs, watercourses, dry river beds, rocks and cacti areas are strategically located to examine all aspects of any golfer's game. With greens equal in quality of those played on Tour events, you’ll love the experience of golf in the desert. Course designer Peter McEvoy says, "We have created a course which really can be enjoyed by players of all different standards", which we certainly agree with.
