Each room comes with a bath and shower, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. The Sun Inn can even provide you with a tour of the Shepherd Neame brewery, the home of Spitfire Bitter just a short walk away, along with other services for your break.
Bar & Restaurant
The 40 seat restaurant has been recently refurbished and provides guest with a warm atmosphere; the menu consists of English classics and traditional pub food, including some delightful snacks and light lunches at the bar. Some of the ingredients are sourced locally to bring you some fresh tasty food, giving you a real flavour for what Kent has to offer. Traditional Kentish ales are served here, along with an excellent New World wine selection.
Things to see and do
Faversham is a pretty market town, with lots of little nooks and crannies to explore. Walking is popular here, as there are some lovely trails that will let you see the sights; Saxon Shore Way, the Swale Heritage Trail and the Kent Downs are some for you to try. Faversham is close to the sea, so fishing from land or boat is available here. There is also Oare and Conyer creek s, that are also popular for sailing if maritime activities interest you. There are lots of little shops and cafes in the town to have a spot of lunch and meet the locals. Some private historic buildings and gardens are open in the summer if you fancy a walk in the sunshine or even a picnic.
