    About Steenberg Hotel 5*

    Hotel

This luxury hotel in the Constantia Valley offers exquisite hospitality, world-class cuisine, an award-winning winery, an 18-hole championship golf course, a vibrant spa and plenty of history. Situated on the Cape’s oldest wine farm, Steenberg offers an idyllic setting that is a mere 20-minute drive from the centre of Cape Town.

    Golf courses

Steenberg is a great golf course designed by the legendary Peter Matkovich with small rolling hills, lovely verdant scenery, and mountains looking out over False Bay. In addition to Steenberg, we recommend Westlake Golf & Country Club just 10 minutes away - a good member’s course with great mountain views. Royal Cape is only 20 minutes’ drive north.

    Location

Steenberg is located in the Constantia Valley, against the slopes of the Steenberg Mountains. Cape Town International Airport is only 30 minutes’ drive away.

    Spa information

Steenberg Spa is operated by Ginkgo Spa & Wellness Group and is the ideal place to relax and pamper yourself after a round of golf. There are five treatment rooms offering services such as facials, massages, wraps, manicures, pedicures and beauty treatments. The 90 minute ScenTao Hot Stone Therapy Massage is one of the best treatments available.

    Things to see and do

One of the best attractions of Cape Town is Table Mountain – take the cable car up to the top, explore the sights and take in the breath taking views.

If you’re into beaches then there are some beautiful ones only 20-30 minutes away from Steenberg. Camps Bay is one of the most popular spots to enjoy the sea breeze and nice weather on non-golfing days.

Highly recommended. - This is a well run, professionally managed hotel. From the greeting at the entry gate to the genuine farewell wish, the experience here was very good. This is a picture postcard of a traditional South African boutique hotel, well supported by it's locals.
