- Food in the hotel was terrible, table booked for 20.30, our name wasn't on the list, had to prove we had booked through Golfbreaks, eventually shown to our table where we sat for 10 - 15 minutes waiting for service, called a waiter who said that it was a carvery and to help ourselves! Went to the food counter, where they had run out of veg so all there was was meat and gravy! Chef said he would cook some for us which would take 5 - 10 minutes. 5 minutes later the chef appears to say goodbye to his staff and left, still no veg! Complained to staff who apologised 'but there isn't a chef now so can't give us any'. Meat and gravy it was then, it was so salty it was inedible, absolutely disgusting. To top it all off when I checked out in the morning they wanted to charge me £158 for something, couldn't say what and was then told 'oh no, it's ok, that's fine, no charge!'
So, basically I would NEVER use this hotel again, bad service, bad attitude and bad food.
