The excellent golf at St Mellion goes hand in hand with the excellent hotel. There are 36 holes of wonderful golf which includes the Jack Nicklaus signature golf courses. Onsite there is a also a great golf academy and golf shop.
The Kernow Course
18 holes, 68 par, 5782 yards. Parkland.Since the opening of St. Mellion Golf Resort, the Kernow Course has always been a special golfing location in the Cornish countryside. Large scale investments in 2008 has lead to a massive development with 9 new holes creating a modern and picturesque 18 hole golf course. Holes from the original golf course have been extended and include exciting new features to challenge the modern golfers of today. This includes the extended first hole, one of the longest on the golf course, with enough quality to grace many of the best golf courses. The back 9 at the Kernow Course is simply spectacular and begins with three stunning, high risk holes, which have the potential to make or break anyone’s score. The Kernow course is now an ideal complement to the Nicklaus course.

The Nicklaus Course
18 holes, 72 par, 7019 yards. Parkland with lakes.Officially opened in 1988, this top layout was the first golf course to be designed by the Golden Bear in Europe. The classic Nicklaus traits of elevated tees, numerous water hazards and the need for good golf course strategy are very evident throughout the 7,019 yard layout. Renowned as one of the UK's best spectator golf courses, many of the manicured fairways are lined by banks and the beautifully conditioned greens have been constructed to a special American specification that produces excellent surfaces.
