The 5th Green

Palmeraie Golf Course

18 holes, 72 par, 6835 yards. Parkland.

Designed by Robert Trent Jones, this American-style 18-hole golf course runs through a beautiful valley overlooked by the encompassing Atlas Mountains. The course, well maintained throughout the year, is dotted with numerous lakes, bunkers and palm trees, all of which protect well-cut greens at some stage.

Golf Al Maaden

18 holes, 72 par, 6874 yards. Links-style Parkland.

The golf course is a Moroccan oasis combined with a touch of Scottish Links. Rolling fairways, 104 strategically placed bunkers and the distinctive geometrical water features give the course a very unique feel. Keeping with the traditions of golf, Al Maaden is walker friendly however buggies are available if required.

There are excellent practice facilities available if you wish to sharpen your skills during your visit. A 300m driving range, pitching green, practice bunkers and putting green are all available to guests. After a round of golf the clubhouse is a great place to relax; with its private inside and outside lounges its the ideal spot to take in the stunning surroundings.

Amelkis

27 holes, 72 par, 7322 yards. Parkland.

Designed by the fantastic up and coming Cabell Robinson, Amelkis is the newest course in Marrakech. It is an american style course with many water hazards, large bunkers, exotic rough, all complemented by a splendid kasbah style clubhouse overlooking the Atlas Mountains. Throughout the course, you have "kettaras" which are 11th century irrigation works built by Almoravides hydraulics experts. All in all, Amelkis is a tough and subtle course, with long par 3's and tight fairways.

Samanah Golf Club

18 holes, 71 par. Desert.

The only Jack Nicklaus golf course in Morocco was opened in 2009 and swiftly won the “International Golf Development of the Year” award, which rewards excellence and top quality design. This Par 72 championship course typifies Desert golf and has a large open Clubhouse. Guests can also improve their skills in a world renowned David Leadbetter Academy which is onsite. All this gives you an idea why the resort was voted best golf resort in the entire Arab region in 2009.

Koutoubia 9th hole

Royal Golf Marrakech

18 holes, 72 par, 6154 yards. Parkland / Woodland.

The Menara/Koutoubia configuration is the main 18 holes. Recently opened in May 2008, the Menara course, designed by French European Seniors Tour player Gerry Watine, is more open, featuring the only lakes on the golf course. It is the longest and features the best greens. The Koutoubia, part of the original 18, is tighter, with many palm, olive and eucalyptus trees. Its signature hole is the 9th, a par 3 with a very tight landing area protected by bunkers and palm trees.
