Slaley Hall formerly De Vere Slaley Hall is an elegant and luxurious Edwardian Mansion set in 1,000 acres of Northumberland moorland and forest offering a unique and perfect getaway location for a weekend on the golf course. With 142 elegant bedrooms that fit seamlessly into the historical building itself, there are more than just two championship standard golf courses to keep guests occupied at Slaley Hall.
The hotel has 126 bedrooms and 16 luxury suites all elegantly decorated, some retaining original features and providing a beautiful and spacious environment. Each classic double or twin room features en-suite bath and shower, flat screen TV with satellite and some Sky channels, radio, work desk with lamp, coffee and tea facilities and complimentary wi-fi. Many of the hotel rooms have views overlooking the courtyard and hotel grounds.
If you are hungry after your round why not try The Claret Jug bar located in the clubhouse. This is a bar and restaurant with a great atmosphere where you can watch the golfers teeing off and finishing their rounds whilst enjoying a drink and some delicious dishes. Alternatively, let yourself be tempted by the Hadrian's Brasserie, which serves an assortment of international food to a high standard.
After a round or two on the championship golf courses soak in the Jacuzzi, sweat it out in the sauna, relax in the steam room or wind down in the superb 20 metre heated leisure pool. The fully air-conditioned gym at Slaley Hall includes both cardiovascular and weight training equipment.

Things to see and do
Within the grounds of Slaley Hall is Allout Adventure. This out-door adventure team are able to take you on an exhilarating journey with activities such as quad biking, zorbing, clay pigeon shooting, archery, segways, paint balling and much more. Alternatively, why not take a short drive and explore the Blue Reef Aquarium or Alnwick Castle.
