Simola Golf Course

A round of golf at Simola is a breathtaking experience. Designed by Jack Nicklaus, the course is built within two natural amphitheatres with glorious views from every corner of the Outeniqua Mountains, Knysna Lagoon and the Indian Ocean beyond. The course has built up a superb reputation in the area for its condition, with the greens and tee boxes often looking especially immaculate. Goose Valley is set in beautiful surroundings in the heart of the golfing Mecca that is the Garden Route. The club prides itself on the condition of its course, with some fantastic fairways and greens provided all year round. Classic features include pot fairway bunkers and fast undulating greens. The natural beauty of the indigenous trees, plants and animal life on Goose Valley will add a special dimension to your golfing experience. As well as indigenous and coniferous trees, there are plenty of water features making this course a challenge to golfers of all abilities. Plettenberg Bay Golf Course

18 holes, 72 par, 6519 yards. Parkland.

Plettenberg Bay Country Club has a challenging 18-hole golf course set in a private nature reserve offering beautiful views over the surrounding South African landscape. The course has all its greens and bunkers at USGA specifications and is very popular with visiting golfers. You can expect a peaceful round, as the course has no intrusive houses or traffic noise, and is populated mainly with indigenous flora and fauna including monkeys, deer and plentiful birdlife including woodpeckers and the Knysna Loerie.
