Wokingham Honest
A great break away. Accommodation and food were excellent. The golf course was under populated when we went there so we enjoyed millionaires golf. The only minor point was that the rough was long which made it hard to find balls off the fairway.
Would recommend as excellent value

Banstead I am fair minded
The course was pleasant, mainly parkland, but quite a few trees. The pro shop/ facilities were a bit limited. The greens were good but played differently to my home club. The hotel was in a scenic location, and the rooms were a good size and quality. The food was excellent and the staff were pleasant enough, but my disappointment was with the service and organisation. They had no record of our booked tee times and so we had to hang around for over half an hour to get on the course. The service in the restaurant was not up to the standards of a four star establishment. There were eight of us and on each course four plates were served and then had to wait, the food getting cold until the other four plates were served. We had to walk the length of the restaurant to ask for soup spoons and condiments, and at breakfast we only had one cup of tea and there was no staff around to ask for another pot
