The Scotscraig Golf Course has developed over the years to become the distinguished links that it is today. Originally founded in 1817, it is the 13th oldest course in the world and boasts a heathland nature despite its close proximity to the sea. The par 4, 4th is the most memorable hole and despite being only 366 yards, only well positioned shots will prove successful in dominating this small plateau green. The left of the fairway is protected by large revetted bunkers and a heathery terrain to the right awaits wayward shots. The par 5, 14th, also sets golfers a challenge. At 523 yards, good positing is crucial to reach the well-guarded green. Whatever level of golfer you may be, Scotscraig offers an enjoyable challenge to all. Competitive coaching packages are available if you wish for a better round of golf or you can simply practise your technique on the putting greens.
