Salobre north 4th

Salobre South Course

18 holes, 71 par, 6760 yards. Desert.

This part of the island offers amazing views of the volcanic scenery. The lush greenery of this stunning course really takes a back seat in contrast to its surroundings. It was designed by Roland Fauré, who has created a fantastic test that will challenge golfers of all levels. You’ll be punished for being wayward off the tee, but with some good course management, you can make the most of this thoroughly entertaining layout.

Salobre north

Salobre North Course

18 holes, 72 par, 5051 yards. Clifftop.

The North Course is very new course which opened in Autumn of 2008, designed by Ron Kirby and known as "The Beast", it is more challenging than "The Beauty" (the South Course!) and perfect for golfers who like a challenge while having the spectacular views and desert feel that makes Salobre golf so superb. Please note that the North Course will be closed May to Spetember 2012 due to renovations

Water hazard

Golf de Maspalomas

18 holes, 73 par, 6723 yards. Parkland.

The course was opened in 1968 and measures 6,189 yards. Its 18 holes are strategically placed among large bunkers and the entire course is bordered by dunes that on most holes can come into play. The course is very close to the famous beach at Maspalomas and the nearby sea provides a gentle breeze that makes playing it a delight at any time of the year.

Water hazard

Meloneras

18 holes, 71 par, 6493 yards. Parkland / Inland.

This new 18 hole golf course is set right next to the ocean with the Canary Mountains on the one hand and the harbour of Pasito Blanco on the other. The par 71 layout was designed by the American architect Ron Kirby who has successfully integrated the holes into the landscape whilst retaining the terrain’s natural beauty. For example, there are two holes where the golfer is forced to hit over the so called “barrancos” – the typical Canarian valleys formed of volcanic rocks. A good challenge for amateurs as well as more competent golfers, the course has four sets of tees per hole and the opening hole is a gentle par 4 allowing the golfer to set him or herself for the rest of the round.

El Cortijo Club de Campo greens

El Cortijo

18 holes, 72 par, 6400 yards. Parkland / Inland.

Host of the 2002 European Tour Event ‘The Canarias Open de España’, the course was designed by Blake Stirling and Marco Martin who have been responsible for some of the best courses in the world. The course is interspersed with six lakes and dotted with over 600 palm trees. In addition, the greens can be fast and difficult to read therefore accuracy and strategy are key when playing this course.
