Saint Malo

Located on the Emerald coast, the championship course of St Malo is the largest golf course in Brittany covering 250 acres of land. The golf course is built around the Mirloup Lake so a few of the holes feature water. With undulating fairways and many trees, the track at St Malo will offer golfers a decent test on their golf holiday.

Dinard

Founded over 100 years ago by Scotsman Tom Dunn, this classic links is the second oldest golf course in France. Known for its rugged terrain and with views of the sea on every hole, it's not just the designer that lends a certain Scottish feel to it. The course is not overly long by today's standard, however, the ever-present coastal winds make it by no means easy and accurate approach play is crucial to a good round.

Saint-Cast Pen-Guen

Located between St Malo and Cap Frehal, this charming course runs alongside Pen-Guen beach. The back 9 are on the high ground and offer some breathtaking views of the sea. Although it's one of the shortest courses along the coast at only 4,945 yards, you might be surprised at the challenge posed by certain holes. The clubhouse stands at the edge of a fine sandy beach, the perfect place for a relaxing drink after your round. Saint-Cast-Pen-Guen is not only an ideal place for golf but for riding, tennis and sailing.

Sables d'Or

18 holes, 70 par, 5510 yards. Links.

The 18 hole links was created in 1925 and features an integral watering system that allows the course to be played comfortably all year round. It was remodelled in 2003 to create a more challenging and varied layout and one of the major changes is the reconstruction of the tees and the creation of several hazards that have been placed around the greens and fairways.

Ajoncs d'Or

This excellent coastal course is located just a few minutes from the beaches of South Goelo. Refurbished in 2001, the recent work has made it very attractive and even more interesting to play. A quality layout, it is well worth a visit on a golf break to Brittany.

Located right on the coast, this course overlooks the cliffs and beaches and it's easy to see why this is one of France's finest. From tee to green the views are simply stunning, whether it's looking across the ocean or back towards the land. The course itself is also a real cracker and blends well into the rolling landscape. With wonderfully well defended greens, it offers a very good golfing challenge with the 11th regarded as one of the world's top 500 golf holes (Golf Magazine 2000).

Golf de Granville

18 holes, 71 par, 5513 yards. Links.

On the bay of the "Mont Saint-Michel", Granville golf course offers 27 holes of golf in the purest of Scottish traditions. Located in natural surroundings, this is a classic seaside links and is playable all year round. The longest combination of the nines leaves a golf course of 6,380 yards and when the wind blows, as it often does, it can play a lot longer.

Golf des Ormes

This mature parkland golf course is laid out over the grounds of a private castle, in the heart of a 370 acre estate. The golf course is set amongst age-old trees and natural lakes. Although a challenging golf course off the back tees, it is however, suitable for all thanks to the staggered tees it employs.
