Designed by Martin Hawtree, the course blends into the existing surroundings and Rudding Park's commitment to the preservation of the natural landscape has already won the course several national environmental awards. New lakes, the innovative placement of bunkers and the construction of extensive tees and greens, designed to USGA specifications, ensure an outstanding test of golf for even the most discerning player. There is also a 6 hole short course, which includes a replica of the notorious island hole at Sawgrass, Florida.
