Menara/Koutoubia (Marrakech Royal Golf Club)
The Menara/Koutoubia configuration is the main 18 holes. Recently opened in May 2008, the Menara course, designed by French European Seniors Tour player Gerry Watine, is more open, featuring the only lakes on the golf course. It is the longest and features the best greens. The Koutoubia, part of the original 18, is tighter, with many palm, olive and eucalyptus trees. Its signature hole is the 9th, a par 3 with a very tight landing area protected by bunkers and palm trees.
