Waterford Castle

A unique island golf course surrounded by the mighty River Suir and accessed by private ferry. Designed by Des Smyth, Waterford Castle Golf Club sits on a 310 acre island enclosed by water. The golf course runs to 6,231 yards and has four major water hazards, on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 16th holes. There is even a Swilken Bridge on the 3rd hole. The views from the golf course are superb and the island can also boast a plethora of wildlife and fauna.

Faithlegg Golf Course

18 holes, 72 par, 6674 yards. Parkland.

Opened in May 1993, Faithlegg Golf Course was designed by renowned Irish golf course architect Patrick Merrigan. Boasting a superb setting on the banks of the River Suir, the course has been cleverly moulded into a wonderful landscape of mature trees, flowing parkland and no less than five lakes. The superb parkland layout, with tricky doglegs, blind tee shots and strategically positioned sand traps, represents a stiff challenge.

The 18 hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf course at Mount Juliet takes full advantage of the mature landscape and natural beauty of the estate. Its credentials are more than impressive: it was home to the Irish Open in 1993-1995 and held the American Express World Golf Championships for the second time in the autumn of 2004. The course features rolling fairways, a plethora of stand-out water hazards and contoured greens, all of which are superbly blended into the spectacular setting of this famous old Irish Estate. Also on site there is a unique 18 hole, par 53 putting course with extreme slopes, bunkers and lakes!
