Prestonfield is the closest golf course to Edinburgh City Centre, just 5 minutes away in a car. However, away from the hustle and bustle of Prince’s Street this landscape is spectacular, located in a former deer estate at the foot of Arthur’s Seat and the Salisbury Crags. A beautiful James Braid designed golf course.

Prestonfield Golf Club has a very strong 18 hole layout, featuring some fantastic holes intertwined through some naturally beautiful landscape. There are some picturesque views to be had from this golf course, looking across the unique rolling hills surrounding this parkland gem and down the East Coast to North Berwick. This historic golfing venue is host to some special holes and is renowned for its long par 4’s, especially the memorable 14th hole which James Braid simply named ‘Dog Leg’.
