Portmarnock Golf Club
18 holes, 72 par, 7182 yards. Links.Traditionally laid out in two loops of nine like all the best classic links courses, Portmarnock is a real handful. Measuring at over 7,000 yards and being heavily affected by the wind you'll need your best game to play well here. The greens at Portmarnock are some of the best in Ireland; not only are they fast and kept in great condition but they are also true and that is a rare virtue. With all these qualities it's easy to see why the Old Course finds itself in the top 30 courses in the British Isles year after year.
