Measuring at over 7,000 yards, whilst also being heavily affected by the wind you'll need you’re a game to play well here. The greens at Portmarnock are some of the best in Ireland - not only are they fast and kept in great condition, but they are also true and that is a rare virtue. With all these qualities and more it's easy to see why the Old Course finds itself in the top 30 courses in the British Isles year after year.
