Eligibility for Professionals
The Pro-Am is open to all PGA members from any country and affiliate PGA members.
Format
Each team will consist of one professional and three amateurs. Handicap limit for men is 24 and ladies 36 with ¾ allowance. An official handicap certificate is required to be shown to the PGA Tournament Director by each amateur golfer prior to the commencement of the Pro-Am.
There will be a professional individual competition which will be Strokeplay over the three rounds and a team event which will be the best 2 from 4 Stableford scores on each hole over the three rounds.
Rules
The Rules of Golf as published by R & A Rules Limited, PGA Tournament Regulations, Conditions of Competition and Local Rules and the Additional Local Rules as approved by the Tournament Director shall apply.
Additional Information
Distance Measuring Devices (that measure distance only) are permitted.
The Condition of Competition regarding conforming grooves will not be in operation.
Soft spike shoes and golfing attire to be worn on the golf courses - in accordance with the ‘dress code’ of each golf club.
If you are an individual amateur golfer and would like to play in the Pro-Am, then we can arrange a team for you to play in.
