As part of our Official Supplier status with the PGA, we are now able to offer PGA Pros the chance to sell golf holidays to your golf club members and make commission from all sales made.

The average golf club has 500+ members, many of whom are “avid” golfers and like to take numerous golf breaks/holidays every year. If you team up with Europe’s largest golf travel company Golfbreaks.com, you will be able to offer golf holidays to your members and capture their business.

It is so simple to get yourself set up, and Golfbreaks.com will pay you 5% commission on all bookings made through you.

How does it work?

Step 1

Personalised button when you become an agent for Golfbreaks.com

Golfbreaks.com will produce a personalised button for you to upload onto your website.

If you don't have your own website, then we suggest putting this onto your golf club website.

When the customer clicks on your button from "Step 1" they will be taken straight through to your own personalised co-branded website, which Golfbreaks.com will produce for you.

Your co-branded site will be tagged with its own unique Campaign ID (CID) code so that any enquiries and bookings generated will be tracked and credited to you.

Step 3

Once on your co-branded website, customers will be able to search for golf holidays and send through an email enquiry to Golfbreaks.com (in Windsor, UK), where a Sales Consultant will contact your customer and take them through the booking process.

Step 4

You will be notified by email as soon as an enquiry converts to a booking.

Step 5

You will receive a quarterly statement and commission payment of 5% of the total sales value of all bookings made through your co-branded site. Commission will be paid after customers travel on their golf holidays.

What do I have to do?

All your golf club members are potential golf holiday customers - you have a captive audience. All you need to do is promote this and direct them to your website, where they will find your personalised button. This communication can be done face to face, through emails to members, posters on the club notice board and flyers in the pro shop. Golfbreaks.com can help you put together marketing material and will also supply you with monthly “hot deals/special offers” to promote to your members to stimulate sales.

It’s important to make your customers aware of the fact that when booking through you they will get access to exactly the same prices and special offers as if they were booking directly with Golfbreaks.com. Otherwise their perception may be that the cheapest prices and offers are only available when booking directly with Golfbreaks.com, when in fact there is no difference.

In order to capture business and incentivise your members to book through you and your co-branded site, you may want to consider offering an additional “booking incentive”.

This could be merchandise from the Pro Shop such as golf balls, or offer free range tokens, or pro shop vouchers. Alternatively, you could just offer lessons (a simple “swing check” all the way through to a full 30min lesson). The decision is yours, and we can tailor your button accordingly, as per the below example:

You could even scale the incentive according to size of booking. For example:

  • Groups of 1-8
  • Groups 9-16
  • Groups 16+

Whatever incentive you choose should hopefully cost you very little and will provide your members with the incentive to always book their golf holidays through you. These incentives should also give you some good “up sell” and future sales opportunities.

  7. Stimulate extra business – the more members you get to know and engage with the more opportunities you will have to sell lessons, equipment and other products you offer.
  8. Stimulate winter escorted tuition trips abroad – if you are not already doing these with your members then this will help you get into that market. Taking groups away in the winter is a very lucrative thing for you to do in the low season.
