Situated near the picturesque village of Alvor, the course offers extraordinary white sandy beaches, clear blue sea and fascinating cliffs which all add to its charm and character.
The par 72 course traverses two gently sloping valleys with the front nine offering stunning views of the bay of Lagos. The back nine, set against rolling slopes, offers quite a test and includes the (quite frankly) remarkable Sir Henry Cotton Challenge - a huge par 5. At 661 yards, it requires concentration and skill to ensure a respectable score. With gently undulating greens, the course also challenges your putting ability.
