Top golf courses & breathtaking views

Italy has certainly been increasing in popularity with regards to golf breaks and as the excitement of the 2023 Ryder Cup draws closer, we’re sure this popularity will continue to soar. One thing you can guarantee when playing in the north of Italy is endless views of beautiful landscapes, you’ll never grow tired of playing with these backdrops.

There is a wide variety of golf on offer, summed up in three incredible resorts in the area. The first of which is the Bogogno Golf Resort; opened in 2014, making it fairly young compared to some resorts, it is home to two fantastic 18-hole golf courses. The two courses on offer, Banora and Del Conte, are ranked in Italy’s top 20 golf courses and provide a welcome challenge for golfers of any stature. The resort itself has excellent leisure facilities, vibrant bars, and restaurants serving locally sourced and authentic Italian cuisine.

There is so much choice in the north of Italy from Turin, home to one of Italy’s top golf courses and European Tour venue, Royal Park Roveri Golf Club, to the very east of Italy in Friuli Venezia, a remote part of the country that is blessed with stunning views and Udine Golf Club, a fantastic championship layout.

Circolo Golf Villa d’Este is a course that will leave you wanting more, 18 holes just simply isn’t enough! Built in 1926 it has plenty of history and you are bound to create lots of amazing memories on this course as you wind through the pine, ash and chestnut trees.

Situated above the shores of Lake Garda is Garda Golf & Country Club, a beautiful club that offers 27 holes of golfing heaven. It has wonderfully shaped fairways that aren’t too tight, water hazards ready to catch errant shots and pristine greens that run true.
