Son Muntaner

18 holes, 72 par, 6300 yards. Parkland.

Kurt Rossknecht designed the 18 hole golf championship course of Son Muntaner which opened in 2000 and is characterised by its beautiful landscape, well manicured fairways and large greens. The layout is always in excellent shape due to the restriction that only hotel guests (Castillo Hotel Son Vida, Arabella Hotel Son Vida) and members are allowed to play here. The 13th sees one of the course's highlights; a one thousand year old olive tree grows here. Although a relatively new course, Son Muntaner has quickly become an established, must play track on the Island.

Real Golf de Bendinat

18 holes, 70 par, 5660 yards. Parkland.

The Bendinat Royal Golf Course is magnificently situated 7kms west of Palma in an extensive wooded valley. This testing golf course has gently sloping terrain and scenic views from a number of the holes. Its undulating route makes it an attractive and fun golf course for golfers of all abilities.

Golf de Poniente

18 holes, 72 par, 6430 yards. Parkland.

The wide fairways and large greens are a key feature of Poniente, but don't be fooled into thinking that it makes the course any easier as many fairways and greens slope away unsuspectingly. But the main hazards on this course are the vast number of trees, which line the fairways and have been home to many a wayward tee shot. The views from the 8th and 16th are truly spectacular, ensuring you appreciate the true beauty of the course.

Golf Park Puntiró

18 holes, 71 par, 6630 yards. Parkland.

Golf Park Puntiro is a course that was designed by the world renowned Nicklaus design group. The wonderful par 71 measures over 6000 yards and all 18 holes present a different challenge. There are two enormous man made lakes will provide the backbone of Golf Park Puntiro's challenge, and two couplets of holes, the 7th and 8th, and the 15th and 16th - look set to be the thrilling showcases of any round here.

The 8th hole is 354 yards and the tee-shot is played directly over water to the fairway and the 16th is a dramatic par 3, playing 202 yards entirely over water to a raised and bunkered green.

Son Vida

18 holes, 71 par, 5601 yards. Parkland.

Son Vida has a very natural appearance to it and is the most famous golf course on the island. Designed by F.W Hawtree and opened in the late fifties, this par 71 layout is an enjoyable and varied test of golf with fantastic views of the bay and Sierra de Tramontana. Son Vida can look tight from the tee but the fairways open out and make good use of the hilly terrain. The greens are large and slightly elevated calling for some accurate shots and good course management.
