Tytherington Golf Course

18 holes, 72 par, 6765 yards. Parkland.

Open in 1986, The Tytherington Club was one of the United Kingdom’s first custom-built golf and Health and Fitness clubs. The matured golf course is a stern test of your skill, with the Pennine foothills as a great backdrop to your round.

Situated in the heart of Cheshire, close to Macclesfield and Congelton, the course has been described as one of the finest courses in the Northwest. The layout winds through woodland with gentle undulations and has matured well. The abundance of hazards is very tough, with over 100 bunkers and 8 water features which make for a tricky but pleasant round. Risk and reward is certainly a good approach to this championship layout and provides a strong test for any calibre of golfer. The Clubhouse also offers state of the art health and fitness facilities and a cosy bar to wind down and chat about your round; the restaurant accommodates for both adults and children and there is a lovely outdoor terrace and conservatory.
