The rooms had not a single drawer to put our clothes away, so had to live out of a suitcase for 3 nights. We also had 3 issues with our room (a broken iron, fluctuating temperature with the water and a smell of sewerage coming up from the bath drain) and none of them were fixed, despite repeated visits to reception.

Drinks were over priced (£8.75 for a large glass of wine) and they even charged one of our party 50p for an additional roll for his soup - unbelievable!

Needless to say, we will not be returning.

Impressive looking hotel inexpensive grounds. The only problem we had was with the heating: our bedroom was cold and we were provided with oil filled radiators to heat the room. We didn't use the spa, but noted that there is a well-equipped gym area. The pool area is okay, but there is a lack of loungers in this area.
