Moortown Golf Course information

18 holes, 71 par, 7001 yards. Moorland.

Lined with gorse and heather, this Alister MacKenzie course poses a fair challenge to even the most experienced of golfers. Set on Black Moor, it provides a typical moorland feel, with springy turf underfoot and wide fairways. Measuring almost 6,500 yards from the regular tees, it is not a short course, however accuracy will reap more rewards than length on this course. The signature hole of this course is the par 3 10th hole, named Gibraltar, with its steep undulations and well guarded green, this 158 yard gem is ranked amongst the best Par 3’s in the Country.
