Millennium course is recognised for having a very interesting and attractive layout, as well as an idyllic setting. Refurbishment to the existing nine holes commenced in 1999; this included rebuilding the tees, greens and bunkers. It is a test that offers variety and interest for all players.
Millennium
18 holes, 72 par, 6718 yards. Parkland with lakes.The refurbished holes were joined up with a new 9 holes. In this area of the course the fairways are narrower which needs greater accuracy. The par three 6th is a wonderful short hole with a lake waiting for any stray shots that comes its way. The Millennium Course can challenge even the most experienced golfers and can make for a thrilling experience; the arrival of this course has caused Vilamoura to become one of the main golfing destinations in Europe.
