One of the newest golf courses in France, Merignies Golf Club is still a work in progress. There are currently 18 completed holes onsite with another 18 currently being constructed. The current 18 holes, called La Valutte, was completed early 2010 and is an inland links. Despite an easy first hole, from the 2nd onwards, you realise the difficulties which lie ahead, with strategically placed bunkers and ominous water features.
