Meldrum House Hotel hotel information
Meldrum House, dating from as far back as the 13th Century, is an exquisite baronial house surrounded by beautiful woodland and parkland, into which has been blended a superb 18 hole championship golf course.
Meldrum House Hotel boasts 37 luxury bedrooms, all individually furnished and full of unique Scottish character. The warm furnishings and the stunning ballroom add to the traditional feel throughout the hotel. However the excellent modern amenities bring the hotel up to date; a television, snack tray, free Wifi and even an iPod docking station.
The Chain Lodge is perfect for golf break with a group of friends or as a family; the private building is just a short walk from the hotel and comes with its own kitchen and lounge area. However, the drinks service remains the same as the hotel so you are being well looked after within the privacy of your own retreat.
The Stables is the latest addition to Meldrum House with 13 spacious double rooms, decorated in contemporary Scottish luxury and has kept some the building’s beautiful architectural features, including beams in the ceiling. All the amenities you would expect from the Maldron House main hotel come included with the room.
In a recent refurbishment of the 800 year old Cave Bar the bar has been extended, allowing for more guests where light bites will be served during the day and will now feature over 120 impressive whiskies. A new dining room has been opened also, really rounding off this gem of a hotel.
As well as being centrally located for many golf courses, including the famous Royal Aberdeen and Cruden Bay, Meldrum House also offers river fishing, clay-pigeon shooting and horse riding.
