Mackintosh Golf Course

18 holes, 72 par, 6356 yards. Parkland.

At 6,407-yards off the whites, the Mackintosh Course uses the natural terrain to challenge golfers with a mature, undulating parkland style that will challenge the best of golfers. Equally, the superb drainage on the golf course makes it playable all year round and the great views across the Vale of Glamorgan countryside make for a real treat while playing a truly enjoyable track.

Button Golf Course

18 holes, 71 par, 6229 yards. Parkland.

Excellent views, as far as the Brecon Beacons on a clear day, make this a particularly enjoyable round. At 6,123-yards it’s not the longest golf course, but with 13 lakes and ponds spread throughout the 18 holes there will be some challenging shots to keep even the lowest handicappers on their toes.

St Marys

18 holes, 69 par, 5291 yards. Parkland / Woodland.

Right on your doorstep St Marys has two excellent courses. The main course is maturing into one of the most picturesque and well conditioned 18 holes in the Vale of Glamorgan. Antiquated oaks, teasing bunkers and distracting water hazards are skilfully integrated into a very enjoyable round.

The Lake Course

18 holes, 72 par, 6436 yards. Parkland.

One of two exceptional UK golf courses at The Vale Resort, the well-established and aptly named par 72 Lake Course – which has staged numerous Wales and West PGA professional championships - is dominated by a 20-acre lake and has water coming into play on 12 of its holes. Its 8th hole looks down over the largest heronry in Wales. Its unique signature hole, The Island Green (12th), is ranked one of UK golf courses top golf holes.

The Wales National

18 holes, 73 par, 7433 yards. Parkland.

The Wales National is one of the longest golf courses outside of the USA. At a par 73, this golf course is a massive 7,433 yards off the Championship tees. Opened in 2003 and constructed to USGA standards it is one of the UK and Europe’s newest championship courses. The Wales National has already hosted the Euro-pro and Challenge Tour events and it was the venue for the Sky – televised FIRSTPLUS Wales seniors Open in June 2006 and the Wales Challenge tour in 2007.
