The excellent Golf de Margaux was opened in 2006 and is located next to the River Gironde and the Margaux vineyards, making it an extremely picturesque course.
Golf de Margaux (Golf de Margaux)
This excellent new 18 hole course could hardly have a more picturesque setting. Located between the estuary of the River Gironde and the famed vineyards of Margaux, this 6,586 yard layout was designed by renowned French golf architect Olivier Dongradi over 45 hectares of undulating wine country. The course surrounds the luxurious onsite hotel and superbly utilises the small islets of the Gironde. This is most notable at the 164 yard island green 12th and the 18th, which requires a shot over the large lake that dominates the centre of this top layout.
