This 18 hole golf course is set in 150 acres of beautiful rolling Hertfordshire countryside and is perfect for golfers who enjoy a challenge and like to think their way round a course. The par 71, 6,237 yard layout has been subject to a large investment of time and effort over the last couple of years. It's divided into two differing nine hole loops with the first nine stretching out across old farmland while the back nine weaves in and around the old manor gardens. The golf course, while tactical, is still quite forgiving. Although the fairways are large and expansive, there are numerous dog legs and strategically placed bunkers to ensure you'll be kept on your toes. In addition, many of the greens are raised making club selection crucial. The Manor of Groves golf course plays well all year round with good drainage under the fairways and sand based greens.
