The two entertaining courses at Longhirst Hall feature an abundance of water and offers great variety to all handicappers.
The Dawson
18 holes, 72 par, 7153 yards. Parkland / Links. The Dawson Course offers a different challenge to the Championship Course at Longhirst. Measuring 6,713 yards from the white tees, it is actually longer but the holes have been modelled to create wider fairways and large greens to contrast with the more demanding Championship Course. Extended from the original 9 holes of the Blueberry Course, the Dawson Course is a great addition to this golfing complex.
The Lakes
18 holes, 70 par, 6562 yards. Parkland / Links. The wonderful par 72 Championship Course was opened in 1997 and plays to 6,572 yards from the championship tees. Set within 180 acres of Northumberland countryside the course design is based around an 'American Style' ethos, with plenty of water to catch anyone not hitting straight from the tee. The famous Longhirst wildlife inhabit the many lakes that frame the fairways, so you can share surroundings with plenty of ducks, geese and swans whilst you search for the birdies! If you're looking for a little piece of Florida on this side of the pond look no further than Longhirst Hall Golf Club. This is a hidden gem!
