La Torre Golf is a Nicklaus design 18-hole par 68 course. This course stands out for its style, which is similar to that of the Pacific Coast courses in the US. These have very few trees and a lot of sand as well as several lakes which affect most of the holes. The shorter length of La Torre Golf makes the golf course more playable for the average to higher-handicap golfer. At the same time, this course incorporates a great deal of strategy, so when played from the back tees, it quite a stern test for the more experienced players. Complete with a full-feature practice facility, La Torre Golf Resort is, without a doubt, a must for all golfers.

El Valle Golf Course

18 holes, 71 par, 6730 yards. Desert.

El Valle Golf, a medium length par71 golf course, is situated in a beautiful desert valley. The golf course has been created with grouped holes to offer a more open and natural golf experience and, rather than length, the course relies on numerous subtle strategic elements to challenge golfers. Players are rewarded for daring and courageous shots. El Valle features clusters of smaller, more subtly shaped bunkers and takes full advantage of its desert setting with numerous holes playing adjacent to naturally exisiting rock-outcroppings and ridges. Complemented with a number of water features, including two lakes and two elaborate stream and waterfall systems, this is the perfect course for developing any player's strategy.

Hacienda Riquelme Golf Course

Hacienda Riquelme is a well structured 18 hole, par 72 golf course. Designed by Jack Nicklaus, this golf course offers a different challenge to the other courses on the Nicklaus golf trial. Hacienda Riquelme has been built to championship standards with difficult shots with plenty of bunker hazards, wild grass, olive trees and large lakes. It also has the novel feature of PASPALUM grass to make golf more sustainable on a national level. This variety of grass has many similarities with the Bermuda grass, but it tolerates a high salinity in its irrigation water, as well as being resistant to drought and high temperatures. All in all, this golf course will be an exciting addition to any golf holiday to Murcia.

Condado de Alhama Golf Course

At over 7,500 yards from the back tees, with a par of 72, this Championship layout is set to become one of the very best in the whole region. It also features 4 lakes and some noticable changes in elevation, making it one of the best looking golf courses in all of Spain.

Saurines de la Torre Golf Course

This 18 hole, par 72 Jack Nicklaus designed golf course, is a desert-style golf course that has sandy dunes lining the fairways and yet a surprising lack of bunkers. The 6 acre lake near the 18th hole ensures the final stretch will test even the best golf players. New in 2010 and with the promise of immaculate condition, it really is one to add to your golf trip to Murcia.
