Kirkcaldy is a well conditioned golf course that has plenty of demanding golf holes, it even has its own Amen corner where a fantastic round can go horribly wrong at this part of the golf course. The golf course is set in beautiful parkland and has a traditional Scottish burn meandering through, creating some interesting and challenging shots.

Kirkcaldy Golf Course is known locally as Balwearie, set in 150 acres of beautiful parkland and countryside in the Fife area. Designed by the famous Tom Morris in 1904, Kirkcaldy Golf Course is a wonderful design with many charming features. There is also a traditional Scottish burn that meanders its way throughout the course. The golf course features a variety of holes and also has its very own Amen Corner, where a decent round can be made or lost. The 17th on this course leaves many a golfer with a difficult decision when contemplating whether to carry the burn in two from the top of the hill. Kircaldy golf course is one of the best manicured courses in Fife and deserves the recognition that it receives.
There is a great clubhouse at this golf club which serves a good range of food and drink. Golfers can choose from a menu of bar snacks, or the daily specials provided by the wonderful chef. There is also a fully stocked pro shop, tuition, and buggy and club hire.
