Whilst it is true the area of St Andrews has a magical presence to it, with all golfers appreciating its significance to the sport, St Andrews golf courses more than live up to the reputation.

The area of St Andrews is so rich in great golf and historic courses that it is impossible to do them all credit, however, the most iconic course remains the Old Course at St Andrews Golf Links. Regarded by many as an absolute must-play and for good reason, the course exudes class and the history of the course is something of a marvel, a treat for all those who play.

However, the Old Course shouldn’t steal all the spotlight, and other notable courses in the St Andrews area include the New Course, Jubilee and Castle Course at St Andrew's Golf Links all of which are outstanding designs and should not be overlooked!

Nearby, Kingsbarns Golf Links is a European Tour favourite and one our customers absolutely love! Additionally, the courses at Fairmont St Andrews and Crail Golfing Society sit just outside of the town centre and are all excellent additions to a Scotland golf tour.

We recommend the characterful Jigger Inn with its traditional Scottish interior and fine food. The Swilcan, an immaculately presented and high-quality restaurant is worth checking out. It serves golfers who have played the Old, New and Jubilee Courses.
