Les Vignes Course

Les Châteaux

The “Chateaux Course” was drawn in 1989 by the famous American architect Bill Coore. The wide fairways lined with heathers, the quality of greens, and the influence of winds coming from the Ocean make "The Chateaux" a fantastic golf challenge. It is necessary to play with a lot of intelligence and strategic sense, every shot is different. Considered one of the top courses in Europe, it is listed as the 12th best course in France and hosted the French Open in 1999.

Les Vignes

18 holes, 71 par, 6802 yards. Parkland / Woodland.

The “Vignes Course” was drawn in 1991 by the Canadian Rod Whitman. This Golf is in a typically regional landscape of moor and maritime pines. This course is dedicated to players of any levels but can be made extremely selective according to the pin positions. You will appreciate the big variety of game situations and the difficulty of the greens which will satisfy the most demanding golfers. This course welcomed the Grand Final of European Challenge Tour in 2002 - 2003 - 2004.

Lacanau

18 holes, 72 par, 6489 yards. Woodland.

This 18 hole, internationally renowned golf course sits amongst 80 hectares in the heart of great Bordeaux country, a land of heavy pine forests, spectacular sand dunes and beaches, and on the doorstep of the great wine district of Medoc. Known as one of France's premier golf courses, Lacanau opened in 1980 and winds through both sand dunes and thick pine forest providing a different challenge on every hole. Reputed for the spectacular condition of its fairways and greens all year round, there are a number of interesting features including an ancient well which sits in the middle of the 18th fairway. Perfect golf holiday golf.

Golf de Margaux

This excellent new 18 hole course could hardly have a more picturesque setting. Located between the estuary of the River Gironde and the famed vineyards of Margaux, this 6,586 yard layout was designed by renowned French golf architect Olivier Dongradi over 45 hectares of undulating wine country. The course surrounds the luxurious onsite hotel and superbly utilises the small islets of the Gironde. This is most notable at the 164 yard island green 12th and the 18th, which requires a shot over the large lake that dominates the centre of this top layout.

Golf De Bordeaux Lac La Jalle

18 holes, 72 par, 6403 yards. Parkland.

La Jalle golf course was established in 1978 and measures at 6124 yards. It has been designed to challenge all levels of golfer who choose Golf de Bordeax Lac as their golf holiday destination. However, accuracy is key with Le Jalle’s fast, difficult to read greens and difficult rough.

Golf de Bordeaux Lac Les Etangs

18 holes, 72 par, 6452 yards. Parkland.

Les Etangs is the French Junior Championship golf course which measures at 6194 yards. Established in 1990, this modern golf course proves to be a test for beginners with its challenging water hazards and well defended greens.
