Omaha Beach La Mer & Le Bocage

18 holes, 72 par, 6809 yards. Parkland / Inland.

This is the more prominent of the two 18 hole golf courses. Made from the two loops of 9 golf holes, La Mer and Le Bocage, this superb golf course is varied, undulating and boasts stunning cliff-top views over the English Channel. The signature 6th golf hole is located on the edge of a cliff where you can enjoy these beautiful views as well as looking over the charming fishing village of Port-en-Bessin. This is typical golf in France. The second loop of 9 golf holes is completely different to the first and is known for its different shades of green and fabulous rhododendrons. It offers a stiff finish with the 16th and 17th being very long par 4s and the 18th green being heavily defended by bunkers. This is a fantastic golf course not to be missed on your golf holiday.

Le Manoir course, 8th hole

Omaha Beach L'Etang & Le Manoir

18 holes, 71 par, 6664 yards. Parkland.

This is the new 18 hole golf course created using the new Le Manoir golf course, and the older loop of 9 golf holes L'Etang. This new golf course is a Par 71 and located in the heart of the Norman countryside with breath-taking views of the Bessin countryside. There are some quite severe water hazards with challenging greens and long rough, making this no walk in the park! The second 9 again features water on a number of the golf holes creating quite a challenge. This great golf course features a downhill approach to an island green on the 8th and on the 4th you have to carry the water twice. A few of the tees also have beautiful views of the Bayeux Cathedral, which is nearly a millennium old. Although this isn't considered the main golf course onsite, it is still a superb alternative and deserves to be played on your golf holiday based on its own merits.

Golf de Granville

On the bay of the "Mont Saint-Michel", Granville golf course offers 27 holes of golf in the purest of Scottish traditions. Located in natural surroundings, this is a classic seaside links and is playable all year round. The longest combination of the nines leaves a golf course of 6,380 yards and when the wind blows, as it often does, it can play a lot longer.

Golf Barriere de Deauville

18 holes, 71 par, 5951 yards. Parkland.

Just a short drive from Deauville town centre, this elegant 27 hole golf complex can be found high on Mount Canisy, overlooking the bay and the town. It is the ideal location for a golf holiday. The signature golf course is a 6,508 yard Par 71, designed in 1929 by Tom Simpson, which makes its way through undulating parkland and features some excellent greens. For newer players, there is also the option of a 9 hole golf course (par 36, 3,322 yards), which was designed by the renowned architect Henry Cotton in 1964. The excellent clubhouse also offers an outdoor terrace where you can relax with a drink overlooking the golf course. A practice range, short game area and helpful pro-shop, including club hire, can also be found at this superb venue.

St Julien Le Vallon

18 holes, 72 par, 6600 yards. Parkland.

This 18 hole Par 72 parkland golf course measures at 6,600 yards. The first 9 holes offer a quite straightforward game to ease you into the exciting challenge that lies ahead of you on the 12th 13th and 18th holes in particular. It is physically tough and is technical in parts. There has been a lot of money invested in the course over the past 10 years and this definitely tells. Expect good condition fairways and greens. The clubhouse onsite is superb, serving regional classics with large windows looking out to the golf course. The is a perfect golf holiday course to play and even more popular for clients wishing to play 27 holes.
