The beautiful surroundings of Golf D'Arras

Le Golf d'Arras

18 holes, 72 par, 6693 yards. Parkland with lakes.

Situated in the heart of the Scarpe Valley in Northern France and just 5 minutes away from the picturesque town of Arras, you will find the magnificent golf course “Le Golf d’Arras”, classed as one of the finest courses in the region. The golf course has a sensational layout with two different nines, the fist being positioned amongst marshland and the second up in the hills. Arras Golf Club was home to the Ladies French Open on the Evian Tour from 2000 to 2009 and will provide an enjoyable test and a great challenge to all standards of golfer.

Arras Les Aubépines

9 holes, 30 par, 1795 yards. Parkland.

Golf d’Arras will provide you with a sensational layout consisting of two different nines. The golf course which is host to the ladies European Tour will offer all abilities of golfer a great challenge in a superb French location.

St Omer Le Val

18 holes, 73 par, 6218 yards. Parkland.

This is a typical parkland golf course spanning two sides of the valley. The first 9 holes consist of dramatic landscape, which will catch everyone’s eye. The final 9 is a complete contrast offering a wooded area, giving players the change to experience two different types of courses in one. The golf course has challenges in the form of water, needing a straight drive. Overall this is an excellent course, kept in superb condition.

St Omer La Haute Drève

9 holes, 31 par, 2229 yards. Parkland.

The ideal choice for golf beginners or those who just want a leisurely game to perfect certain aspects of their game. Like its sister golf course, it is kept in superb condition and always makes for a great round.

Merignies Golf Club

18 holes, 72 par, 6350 yards. Links-style Parkland.

The first 9 hole golf course (Val de Marque) was completed in April 2008 and the second 9 hole golf course (La Valutte) in April 2010. Currently under construction are two more 9 hole golf courses which should by mid 2013, allow Merignies Golf Club to be a reputable 36 hole golf resort.

The golf club is located just a short 35 minute drive from the popular town of Arras. There are 3 good hotels to choose from, all of 3* quality but very different from one another catering for all types of needs and clients. If you are looking to be located on a golf course, choose the Hotel du Golf d’Arras, just 10 minutes drive from the town centre. The Hotel L’Univers is in the town centre and has bags of character, with a cosy bar, a classy restaurant and allows clients to enjoy wine tastings in their cellar. The Hotel Express by Holiday Inn is also in the town centre and caters perfectly for larger groups looking for good value.
