Dieppe

18 holes, 70 par, 5804 yards. Woodland.

Created in 1897, this hilly and woodland golf course plays within sight of the cliffs with many of the holes on the 5,804 yards, par 70 golf course being played out on a plateau overlooking the sea. It's notoriously tricky with the sea wind coming into play on several holes and thick pines lining the fairway on others. Situated near the town centre, the traditionally Normandy style clubhouse is warm and friendly.

Golf de Saint-Saëns

18 holes, 71 par, 6010 yards. Parkland / Woodland.

Golf de Saint-Saens is a 6,572 yard, par 71 golf course carved through a 200-acre estate next to the Eawy forest, reputed to be one of the most beautiful beech groves in France. Its charm lies in a blend of beauty and diversity, making it a testing golf course. There are three distinct sections: the valley (crossed by the river "la Varenne"), the forest (narrow fairways and enclosed greens surrounded by trees) and the high plateau (hilly, bunkers, wind). The golf clubhouse is installed in the 19th century chateau.

Golf d’Etretat

This spectacular links golf course is set on top of the cliffs and is perched high above the English Channel. As you would expect the views are nothing short of stunning and some of the golf holes run dangerously close to the edge of the sea, slicers beware! This historic championship golf course was first laid out in 1908 and is considered to be one of the best golf courses in all of France. It measures in at 6,641 yards with a Par of 72. The wind can blow, but if you enjoy the challenge of links golf this will far from dent your enjoyment of this superb golf course. It has been rumoured that many of France’s leading artists, including Claude Monet, loved the atmosphere and simple beauty of Etretat. Whether on a golf holiday or serious golfers trip, you must find time to visit Etretat golf.

Abbeville

Located in the Baie de Somme on the Picardy Coast, Golf d'Abbeville offers 18 holes of golf packed with variety. The vast sand dunes and the natural undulations combine to offer a demanding round of golf. The course is situated within a huge nature reserve so bird spotting is an optional extra and the odd heron, oyster catcher or a red-legged partridge can be seen around the area.

Golf Club du Champ de Bataille is located 28km North West of Evreux within the estate of the Chateau du Champ de Bataille. The golf course is a 6,600 yard par 72 and has a great layout. It is beautifully carved out of mature trees with the occasional strategically placed water hazard. The greens and fairways are highly renowned for being in excellent condition. It can be said that this is one of the most difficult and beautiful golf courses Normandy and arguably France has to offer, particularly in the spring when it becomes full of blooming rhododendrons which are truly a wonderful sight. When playing golf in France or certainly within Normandy, this is a golf course which you just have to play.
