If they are going to take £100 from my credit card it should show as a credit on end of stay invoice.
Female staff very smart and polite, some young men wearing trousers on the hip and rather abrupt, barman careless and tipped beer at me.

Our society was 56 in number and have played many venues over the years and this was the 3rd time at Hollins Hall.

The Hotel, food, and accommodation was excellent and the staff could not have been more helpful. However, we could not say the same about the course and were disappointed to arrive to find out the greens had been hollowtined and top dressed without prior warning . If we had known this was to be carried out we would not have booked this venue, and feel that we should have been informed that this was going to be carried out during the time of our stay.

We did not have the best of weather with snow and rain which of course was unfortunate, but the course really was not enjoyable to play. There was a buggy ban on the fairways which meant we had to stay to the paths, which meant at times walking over 60-70 yards to play the ball and then return to the buggy. This delayed the game and it was really pointless having buggies.

The halfway hut was not open which if it had been would have been very useful as the weather was so cold and damp that something warm would have been welcomed.

The staff in the Pro's shop made us more than welcome but it was a pity the course did not come up to their standards
