Hindhead Golf Club information
18 holes, 69 par, 6099 yards. Parkland.
This beautiful parkland layout has stood the test of time and is kept in immaculate condition, with 5 sets of tees creating various lengths of the course providing a fair test of golf for all abilities. In traditional style the first holes leads you away from the clubhouse and the 18th brings you right back with the green in front of the Clubhouse making it a marvellous spectator finish. With holes 2 -9 sweeping through two Ice-Age glacier formed valleys you will be have play with precision to score well. The 6th is the signature hole, as a short par-3 down the hill with a sloping green, a par is easier said than done. Being able to work the ball off the tee is key at Hindhead to leave yourself with the easiest approach shots in to greens, by the end of the round you’ll be wondering why Hindhead is not higher up the rankings.
