Available courses

Menaggio and Cadenabbia

18 holes, 70 par, 6023 yards. Woodland.

Menaggio and Cadenabbia Golf Club was one of the first in Italy and was built to a very English design. This is due to the arrival of a man known as Mr. Wyatt. He was a wealthy Englishman who wanted to enjoy his inheritance by building a golf course and enjoy his favourite sport. In 1907, the club officially opened and started as a nine hole layout before being later developed into a full 18 hole course. In 1961 the Rancoroni family acquired the golf course off the previous English owners and in 1965 over-saw a complete redesign of the course with the English feel being changed to a more Italian one. One of the most talked about holes is an uphill par 4 that is one of the narrowest in golf.

Green View

La Pinetina

18 holes, 70 par, 5528 yards. Parkland.

Founded in 1971, La Pinetina Golf Club stretches across 70 hectares of parkland within Tradate-Appiano Gentile Park and is surrounded by a still and wonderfully unspoilt countryside. Meandering through silver birch, chestnut, pine and oak trees, accuracy is the name of the game. However, there is more to enjoy than just the golf with panoramic views, and wildlife aplenty.

Lake and Green

Carimate

18 holes, 71 par, 6579 yards. Parkland.

Set in the mature wooded estate of a medieval castle, the Golf Club Carimate offers a testing challenge of golf typical of the Lombardy landscape. For centuries, the area has offered welcome shade for those fleeing the heat of Milan, so lush fairways, large trees and plenty of shade are the predominant features. A swimming pool and sauna add to the theme of calm and relaxation.

Circolo Golf Villa d'Este

18 holes, 71 par, 6331 yards. Parkland.

Built in 1926, the Peter Gannon designed golf course has gained a reputation for being one of the toughest courses in Italy. Winding its way through pine, ash and chestnut trees, the course also benefits from spectacular views across Lake Montorfano. Since its initial construction, it has undergone huge improvements, and has proved popular with European aristocrats, as well as popular names such as Clark Gable and Bing Crosby.
