Founded in 1897, Western Gailes is one of the toughest links courses in Scotland. Measuring over 6,700 yards, it will provide a stern test to even the most experienced golfer.
It is an Open Qualifier for Troon and Turnberry, and has played host to the Curtis Cup, the PGA Championship and the Scottish Open.
A tough test of golf, but well worth including on any golfing itinerary.
